Community Midwives
Our attached midwives provide care to ladies contemplating pregnancy, as well as throughout pregnancy and postnatally. To contact a midwife non-urgently, telephone 0116 258 4834.
Community Nurses
The district nursing team is a multi-skilled group of nurses able to carry out nursing care in the patient’s own home. They are able to assess health needs and provide care and advice. The aim of the nursing team is to try and enhance the patient’s quality of life and to help maintain their independence within the community. Health Visitors
Health visitors are qualified nurses who have further specialist training in health promotion and education. The aim of the service is to identify and meet the needs of the local population served.
